What is Casa Grande Cares?
Casa Grande Cares is an opportunity for local businesses, civic and religious groups and individuals to show community support by volunteering during the month of October.
How can I participate?
It's simple. Get together with your fellow co-workers,family or friends and plan a volunteer project to complete this October.
What kind of project can I do?
Virtually anything - as long as it provides a positive benefit to the community. It can be as simple as spending some time visiting with seniors at an assisted living facility or as extreme as building a house for a family in need. You decide
what works best for your group.
Can you give me some ideas?
Clean up a park. Host a charity fundraiser. Donate to a shelter thrift store. Hold a canned food drive. Plant a community garden. Crochet blankets for newborns at the hospital. Help a senior citizen. Mentor a child. Build a house for a family in
need. Volunteer to walk dogs at an animal shelter.
I've got an idea for a project, now what?
