CPR and 1st Aid Classes

 

Casa Grande Fire Department offers American Heart Heartsaver CPR & 1st Aid classes to the public once a month.  The classes are offered Monday- Friday during business hours.

 Groups wishing CPR or 1st Aid outside of the scheduled classes should make their request at least one month in advance to City Of Casa Grande Fire Department.  To schedule a class contact Isabel Vasquez, Fire Prevention Officer at (520) 421-8777 Ext. 5980 or by email.  Classes are scheduled when there are five or more individuals who have requested a class.  The classes are taught by Isabel Vasquez, who is also a state and nationally certified Firefighter/Paramedic.  She brings over 20 years hands - on experience to her classes.

Letters of request should include a first and second choice for dates and class times and a phone number where we can call you and finalize plans for a class.

 

Other classes available to groups: Healthcare Provider, CPR Instructor, we will post these classes on line when they become available; must have 5 or more students to hold a class. Classes are also offered in Spanish.

 

How to register for classes. Complete the following steps.

 

-Print downloadable Pre-registration Form. 

-Make checks payable to EMS Trust Fund.

The American Heart Association does not receive any of the money from the First Aid, CPR classes taught by Casa Grande Fire Department. All proceeds go to Casa Grande Fire Department EMS Trust Fund account. The EMS Trust Fund account is used for purchasing supplies used for the CPR classes, station tours, and fire & life safety classes.
