Can I get a home safety inspection?
Yes, we schedule home inspections as time permits. We can usually schedule them within a week. There is no fee for such an inspection unless the inspection is required by the state, then there is a $60 fee.
Where can I get a free smoke alarm?
We provide them at Station 501 and limit them to only 2 per household. We have a limited supply and it's based on availability. But we encourage homes that need smoke detectors to contact us.
Who do I call about hazardous materials?
If it is a business contact, the fire department at 520-421-8777. We regulate the usage and storage of such products. If you are a home owner looking to dispose of limited amounts of such products, contact the landfill at 520-421-8628 for proper disposal.
Who do I report an incident of an animal bite?
If the bite is severe enough they should call 911, then report the animal bite to Animal Control at 520-426-9300.
