*The Len Colla Recreation Center will be closed in recognition of the following Holidays observed by the City of Casa Grande: Thursday,
November 26 and Friday, November 27, Friday December 25 and Friday, January 1.

AFTER SCHOOL RECREATION
Held daily Monday-Friday beginning August 10 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. This is a FREE supervised program that includes: arts and crafts, sports, computer educational games and programs, drama, and dance, all of which are geared at motivating the imagination and creativity of participating children.

HOMEWORK HELP
Monday through Thursdays from 3:00 to 4:00 pm all activity at the center will be directed toward school homework, reading, or class projects.

FOOD DEMONSTRATIONS
Staff will prepare healthy snack demonstrations. Check the monthly calendar to find out what snacks are being prepared for each month.

EARLY RELEASE DAYS
Come join us for fun, cookouts and special nutrition education activities and demonstrations.

HOMEWORK AND HELP CHART
The Homework and Help Chart is a motivational program for the children to do their homework and help out around the center. Whenever the children finish their homework at the center they earn points towards prizes in the Treasure Chest of Mystery. Children can also earn
points by doing worksheets provided by the center or by lending an extra hand to the staff when it is needed. A pizza dance party will be held for those children who complete the Homework and Help Chart.
 

CHRISTMAS DECORATING PARTY!
Tuesday, December 1
Join us on Tuesday, December 1 and help us as we begin decorating the center for the Christmas season. Hot chocolate and cookies provided!

HOLIDAY MOVIE
Friday, December 4th, 11th, 18th
Fridays in December we will be watching a holiday themed movie at 3:45 pm. Come join us for the fun and get into the Holiday Spirit!

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION AND CANNED FOOD DRIVE
Tuesday, December 15 4:30 pm
Come join us for some holiday snacks, fun and games. Bring the whole family as there will be plenty of snacks to share!
This program is free, however, we ask that you bring one can of food for entry; donations will be made to the Casa Grande Food Bank.

SANTA CALLS AND LETTERS!
Casa Grande Parks & Recreation will once again sponsor the Santa Calls and Letter from Santa programs. Casa Grande children ages 4-8 can receive a telephone call from Santa Claus or Mrs. Claus or a letter from Santa. Calls from the North Pole will take place on Saturday, December 12 between the hours of 9:00 and 10:00 am. Letters from Santa will be mailed the week of December 14. To include your child, pick up a flyer at the center or Parks & Recreation Office. Fill it out and return the information to Len Colla Center staff no later than Friday, December 4.

HOLIDAY CRAFTS
Throughout the month of December we will be making crafts, gifts for members of your family or for friends. We will also be making Holiday Cards!
