The Library is recruiting Volunteer Tutors for the Adult Literacy Program. Volunteer Tutors help adults who want to improve their basic reading and writing skills or with learning English. March Movie Mania!
Spring Break is here! Come to the City of Casa Grande Public Library during Spring Break and watch some movies, eat popcorn, and bring your friends! We will be showing a movie in the APS Community Room on Monday, March 15th at 2 p.m. and also on Friday, March 19th at 2:00 p.m. Parents, your presence is required. If your child is 8 or older, you only need to remain in the building during the movie. If your child is under 8 years old, you must stay in the APS Room with your child during the movie. Questions? S.P.A.R.C. (Students Participating in an Advisory Reading Committee)
This student council-type group of young adults meets every week to hang out, discuss books, help with library programs, and select items for the young adult collection at the Main Library. If you are between the ages of 13 to 17 and would like to join S.P.A.R.C. or would like more information, please stop by the library for one of our meetings. These meetings are held every Monday at 4:30 p.m. in the youth librarian's office at the City of Casa Grande Public Library.
Preschool Storytime
Please join the youth librarian for approximately a half hour of stories, songs, and a simple craft! All children are welcome; however, this program is generally suitable for ages 3 - 5. No registration is required but attendance is limited, so please be on time. This free event is set for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 16th in the APS Community room. Wear green!
Lapsit Storytime
Please join the youth librarian for 20 minutes of stories, songs, puppet shows, rhymes, and fingerplays. This program is generally suitable for ages 6 mo. - 2. Please be prepared to sit on the floor and hold your baby in your lap for this program. No registration is required but attendance is limited, so please be on time. This storytime will be held Wednesday, March 17th at 10:30 a.m. in the APS Community room. Don’t forget to wear green!
Book Club Kits "To Go"
Create your own Book Club with neighbors and friends. Each Book Club Kit comes with five copies of the book and a set of discussion questions. Please contact Julie Yen at 520-421-8710 ext 5013 or jyen@casagrandeaz.gov for available titles.
Technology Classes
Our computer and technology classes will be held in the computer learning lab in the downstairs part of the library. Contact Kevin Fahey at 520-421-8710 x5240 or email at kfahey@casagrandeaz.gov for registration or questions. Drop-ins are welcomed, but please be advised that these classes do fill up and priority is given to those who registered. Those who are tardy may have their spot forfeited if the class is full.
Camera to Computers
Learn to transfer your photos from your digital camera to a computer and the internet. Share your photos with your friends, family, or the world. Please bring your digital camera and cords. Class will be held on Tuesday, March 16th from 5:15 to 6:45pm.

Make your mark as a premiere member of the Vista Grande Public Library Teen Group which meets each Tuesday in the library's Young Adult area from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
