On October 25, 2007 the City of Casa Grande Police Department lost one of its finest with the untimely death of Sgt. Tate Lynch.
Lynch was a six-year veteran of the Casa Grande Police Department and was promoted to Sergeant in 2004. He is survived by his wife and three children.
A memorial fund has been created to assist Lynch's family. Those who would like to make a financial donation may do so at any Wells Fargo Bank under Sgt. Tate Lynch's name.
Lynch was a highly decorated officer with the Casa Grande Police Department. Below is a brief list of his accomplishments with the Department as well as points of interest. He previously served as an officer for Holbrook for 3 years. His father, Gary Lynch, is a 30-year officer for Tucson Police Department.
