HISTORICAL DOWNTOWN DISTRICT & “ART IN THE ALLEY”
This is a great “downtown social” with artists, musicians, poets, food and a Car Show. Florence Street will be closed off and all the shops and restaurants will be open with special promotions. This event is held the first Tuesday of each month September through June from 5:30 to 9:30 pm. The March event will include the “Art Walk” between downtown galleries and museums. SENIOR FAIR
The 35th Annual Senior Fair and Bazaar co-sponsored by Central Arizona College, the City of Casa Grande Parks & Recreation Department and Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens/Area Agency on Aging – Region 5 will be held at Central Arizona College on Saturday, February 27 from 9:00 am to
2:00 pm. Bring the entire family for a festive and entertaining day. This year’s fair will include entertainment, handmade arts and crafts, baked goods, health screenings for senior adults and much more! Be sure to join us! Cactus Fly In
Everyone is invited to visit the Casa Grande Municipal Airport from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday March 5th and/or Saturday March 6th, 2010. Hundred's of Antique, Classic, Replica, Homebuilt and Warbird airplanes will visit the Casa Grande Municipal Airport. This exciting fly-in offers everyone the opportunity to get up close and talk with the pilots and owners of these historic airplanes. CASA GRANDE ART EXPLOSION
The 3rd Annual Fine Arts event will be held downtown at Peart Park, Saturday, March 13 and Sunday, March 14. Partners are Casa Grande Valley Fine Arts Association (CGVFAA), Southwestern

SENIOR PROM
All senior adults and winter visitors are invited to attend the Senior Prom on Friday, March 26. The night will include dinner, music and dancing. You may also nominate your favorite couple or yourselves to be chosen as the Cactus King and Queen of the Senior Prom. Registrations will take place at the event. One lucky couple will be chosen from entries to reign over the prom and will receive the Grand Prize Package. Three other couples will also be drawn from the entries to receive prize packages. Entries will be drawn at random and winners must be present at the time of the drawing to claim their prize package. Entertainment will be provided. Tickets will go on sale beginning March 1. The price will be $12 per person in advance. This event is sponsored by the City of Casa Grande Community Services Department and the Dorothy Powell Senior Adult Center.
