2018 Requested General Plan Amendments

Please provide review comments by Thursday, September 20, 2018.

These proposed amendments are provided to you in accordance with the Arizona Revised Statutes 9-461-06. Included in the proposed amendments is a narrative and land use exhibit.

DSA-18-00070:  Text Amendment to propose a new Land Use Category:  Amendment to add the new land use category of Large Mixed-Use to the General Plan.

DSA-18-00071:  Attesa:  Located south of Hanna Rd. between Montgomery Rd. and Bianco Rd. for 2,335 acres from the Agriculture General Plan land use category to the proposed Large Mixed-Use General Plan land use category.

DSA-18-00074:  Ash Avenue and Florence:  Located at the Northwest corner of Ash Avenue and Florence St.  For 30.7 Acres from the Manufacturing/Industry General Plan land use category to Community Center General Plan land use category.

General Plan amendments do not change the current zoning districts of properties.  Zone changes are subject to separate application submittals and hearing processes.  The General land use designated areas outline appropriate zone districts particular to designated land use area.
