FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Pinal Avenue and Cottonwood Lane Intersection Roadway Construction Scheduled (08/18).
Casa Grande, AZ (August 17, 2023) – Beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 18th and lasting until approximately 5 a.m. on Monday, August 21st, Cottonwood Lane westbound, and north and southbound Pinal Avenue will experience lane reductions for a pavement repair project. This is the second phase of the Arizona Water Company’s waterline replacement project that began last weekend.
Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) owns and maintains Pinal Avenue and will provide oversight and inspection on the project. Message boards have been deployed in several locations leading up to the project area to alert the public of the impending closures. Motorists are asked to plan an alternate route ahead of time and follow the detours or expect delays.
Motorists are asked to drive cautiously through the detours as traffic control devices will be in place and crews will be working in the roadway. Your patience and cooperation are appreciated throughout the operations.
