Arizona Commerce Authority Accepting Applications for Fall 2017 Arizona Innovation Challenge, CEO Corner Office Program
PHOENIX (August 16, 2017) – Applications are now being accepted for two Arizona Commerce Authority programs: the Arizona Innovation Challenge, which helps early-stage companies commercialize their technologies, and the CEO Corner Office, which provides resources to chief executive officers of fast-growing companies.
The ACA is accepting applications for the Fall 2017 Arizona Innovation Challenge. One of the largest business plan competitions in the nation, the Arizona Innovation Challenge helps early-stage technology companies scale their innovations. Every applying company that meets the Arizona Innovation Challenge eligibility requirements will receive constructive feedback generated from the rigorous online evaluation and scoring process. Companies receiving awards are required to commercialize their technologies or scale their businesses in Arizona within the subsequent 12 months of the award. Applications will be accepted through 3 p.m. Arizona time Sept. 8. Download the application and submission guidelines at: www.azcommerce.com/programs/arizona-innovation-challenge/apply
The ACA CEO Corner Office program is accepting applications for its third cohort, which begins on Sept. 12. CEOs who seek to grow their businesses, improve their effectiveness and gain a competitive advantage are encouraged to apply. The program prepares CEOs by using facilitated case study discussions and peer-to-peer technical assistance. In each closed-door session, participants present a concern, respond to clarifying questions and then receive advice from fellow CEOs. The eight sessions, held over four months, will focus on four critical concerns: sales and marketing, people management, content management and leadership. Each cohort has a maximum of 10 members and the tuition fee is $699. Deadline to apply is Aug. 25. To learn more and apply, visit: https://www.research.net/r/celd.
“Supporting entrepreneurs in starting and scaling new businesses is a key part of the ACA’s three-pronged approach to strengthening Arizona’s economy,” said Sandra Watson, Arizona Commerce Authority President & CEO. “We’re proud to offer these two programs, designed to help promising early-stage growth companies take their success to the next level.”
