Casa Grande Clean and Beautiful Committee

This Committee reviews and recommends changes regarding the handling of solid waste, and beautification of local streets and highways. It meets the second Tuesday of each month. Members serve two-year terms.


Community Wide Clean-Up

All city residents, businesses, churches, and schools are invited to Adopt-a-Street or Park within the City of Casa Grande.  These groups are invited to come out and help clean up their adopted area twice a year in April and October on the 3rd Saturday of the month.

Recycling & Litter Prevention Calendar Contest

The Casa Grande Clean & Beautiful Advisory Board is asking 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students to help spread the word about recycling and litter prevention.  Our board members will select the top 12 contestants to be a part of our annual calendar.  Entry forms will be distributed throughout all Casa Grande Elementary Schools and they will also be available at the Parks & Recreation Office.

Adopt-A-Street Program

The Adopt-A-Street Program is a partnership between the City of Casa Grande and its citizens. This program will help build a civic pride by beautifying city streets, increasing safety and decreasing litter and other pollutants through trash removal. The program enables community and civic organizations, private businesses and churches to participate directly in enhancing the overall appearance of the city. Anyone adopting a city street is required to clean their mile a minimum of twice per year. Application and rules are available below.

Currently, only the City Council Study Sessions and Meetings are televised. All Board and Commission meetings are open to the public, however, and you can view a calendar of the upcoming meetings and agendas by clicking here.

In order to serve on a City of Casa Grande Board or Commission, the following requirements must be met.

  • Must reside in Casa Grande for at least one year
  • Must be a registered voter
  • Submit an application for review and appointment by the City Council

If you would like to request a waiver for a requirement, a waiver request form must be submitted.
