Grand View is set up like a condensed day-camp. Mornings begin at 10 am for the mandatory physical Group Activity. Campers have a two-hour lunch break off campus. They will return to Grand View for small break-out sessions. Each afternoon Campers will have a choice between a Pioneering Activity or an Arts and Crafts. After which the camp-day is over. NOTE: On Friday, March 23rd, the final day of camp, Grand View will have a special Closing Campfire from 4 pm—6 pm, complete with s’mores and stories.
This pilot program is a FREE condensed version of day-camp melded with Makerspace crafts for a Summer Reading vibe. The camp is only for people 18 years and older. It is a place to meet people, learn some new activities, and spur folks into discovering and exploring not only the library’s offerings but our community of Casa Grande as well!
Grand View offers a mix of physical activities, arts and crafts, and games. While the group physical activity is mandatory, campers may choose from an array of Pioneering or Art and Crafts over the five day period.
