The Casa Grande Community Services Department and Cowboy Days and O’Odham Tash committee are excited to carry on the pride and tradition of the O’Odham Tash Parade. The committee invites the community to be a part of the O’Odham Tash Parade held on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at 10:00 am. This event continues to grow each year and has over 50 entries annually from all across the state of Arizona, with more than 30 different tribes and royalty participating.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to get the best seat possible for this event. The parade will begin at Brown St. and Florence Blvd., will continue west to Florence St., then travel south and end on 2nd St.
In an effort to provide a safe atmosphere and improved access for the large-scale special event, temporary street closures will be in effect. To accommodate parade line up, a portion of Brown Ave., between Florence Blvd. and Hwy. 84 will be closed from approximately 7:30 am to 10:30 am. Florence Blvd. will also be closed starting on the west side of Trekell Rd. to Walnut Ave. from approximately 8:30 am to 11:30 am.
For additional information, or to participate in the parade, please contact Mindy Pieper at 520-421-8677 ext. 4561. Parade registration is open until February 9, 2018.
