The community is encouraged to save the date for the Fall Day of Shredding on Saturday, October 21, hosted by the City of Casa Grande Youth Commission and First American Credit Union. This popular shredding event is open to the public and there is no charge to shred and recycle up to five boxes of material.
In addition to shredding services, the City of Casa Grande Sanitation Division will also be hosting an E-Cycle event on-site to recycle old and unwanted electronics. Acceptable items include computer monitors, keyboards, televisions, cameras, phones, and household batteries.
The event will be held in in front of First American Credit Union, located at 958 E. Rodeo Rd. from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 21. A donation to the Youth Commission is encouraged for those with more than five boxes of material to shred.
