Bingo: Fridays from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm
Join us for Bingo on Friday afternoon! A wide variety of bingo games are played. There is no cost to participate and donations for Bingo prizes are always welcome.
Bridge Party: Monday and Thursdays from 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm
Stop in the Dorothy Powell Senior Center and play a friendly game of Bridge! Everyone is welcome to be a part of the party!
Cards/Dominoes/Pinochle: Monday and Fridays from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Chair Exercise: Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 9:00 am – 10:00 am
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings are geared to get you moving! Enjoy the company of others, while moving to various fitness programs.
Coffee Hour: Tuesdays from 9:00-9:30 am
You are invited to enjoy coffee and donuts Tuesday mornings. This is an opportunity to meet and greet other people living in the surrounding area.
Color with Susie: Fridays from 10:00 am – 11:00 am
We invite Senior’s to join us on Friday mornings for Adult Coloring! It’s an opportunity to socialize with others while creating masterpieces from a coloring book.
Crafts: Tuesdays from 9:30 am – 11:00 am
Tuesday morning craft sessions are an opportunity for individual’s to use their creative skills to make a wide-variety of crafts.
Cultivating Arts: Thursdays from 1:30 – 3:00 pm
Please join us for this weekly art class designed to increase creative expression, socialization, and well-being. Creativity + Socialization = Wellness. Everyone is welcome with no experience needed.
Informal Art Group: Mondays from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Artists of all levels are welcome to stop by and meet other artists and exchange ideas. Work on your own personal projects or start something brand new! This is a great way to socialize and meet others that share your interest in art as well as broaden your knowledge. Please bring your own supplies.
Line Dancing: Tuesdays from 10:00 am – 11:00 am; Thursdays from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm; Fridays from 9:00 am – 11:00 am
A free line dancing class is offered three times each week. A beginners class meets on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m., an intermediate class meets on Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m. and an advanced class meets on Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday classes are held at the Len Colla Recreation Center, 1105 E. Fourth St. Friday’s class is held at the Peart Center, 350 E. Sixth St.
Wood Carvers: Mondays from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Wood carvers are welcome to come meet other carvers in the area and exchange ideas. Work on your own personal project or learn something new. This is a great way to practice your skills in a relaxed environment as well as inspire your creative side with new ideas. Please bring your own supplies.
Yes Wii Can: Wednesdays from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Video games aren’t just for the young; they are also geared towards the “young at heart”! Join us for a fun interactive bowling experience.
Alzheimer’s Support Group: 4th Wednesday of the month starting at 1:00 pm
This group is open to caregivers of anyone suffering from dementia. This group meets to discuss immediate concerns and coping strategies; educate family members of newly diagnosed persons, provides emotional support for the caregiver, and provides a networking opportunity for local resources.
Blood Pressure Checks: 1st Tuesday of the month starting at 9:00 am
Free blood pressure checks are available the 1st Tuesday of each month. This is a great opportunity to have your numbers checked and to get some answers to questions you may have.
Book Exchange: 1st Tuesday of the month starting at 9:00 am
Bring in books to share and take some from our collection/exchange.
Evening Dance: 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm
All are welcome to join us on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday evening of the month. Live entertainment is provided with refreshments. Admission is $5.00 per person.
Friendship Quilt Guild: October – March; 2nd Wednesday of the month from 9:30 am – 11:30 am
All levels are welcome to stop by and meet other quilters and exchange ideas. Work on your own personal projects or engage in the group projects. This is a great way to socialize and meet others that share your interest!

Lunch Program (Congregate Meals)
The Dorothy Powell Senior Center offers a nutritiously balanced meal to seniors 50 years of age or older. Family members are also welcome to come and join seniors for lunch. Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 12 pm. Fees apply as follows:

Home Delivered Meals
The Senior Center provides home-delivered meals to qualified home bound individuals who live in Casa Grande. For more information or to apply for Home Delivered Meals, contact Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens at (520) 836-2758.
Transportation is available for individuals 50 years of age or older and for those 18 years of age or older with a disability (proof of disability required). Transportation services are only provided within the city limits. The schedule is filled on a first come, first served basis. Patrons are encouraged to schedule services as far in advance as possible. The transportation vehicle is ADA accessible. To schedule transportation services please call 520-421-8760.
