Are you passionate about reading? Do you want to make a difference in a child's life? Volunteer with the Mayor's Reading Club and inspire young minds in our community!
What You’ll Do:
Read to students in K-3rd grade classrooms, sharing your favorite stories and your love of reading.
- Spend 15 minutes in 2 to 4 classrooms, for a total of up to one hour.
- Reading takes place one Wednesday morning each month, between 8:00-11:00 am.
- Select one of your favorite books or check out a book from the Casa Grande Public Library.

How to Get Started:
- Apply Online: Visit our website to fill out a volunteer application or pick up a paper application at either library branch.
- District Approval: Complete the Casa Grande Elementary School District Volunteer Application (valid for two years).
