Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT)

Pinal Avenue & Centennial Boulevard Traffic Signal Installation

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), in partnership with the City of Casa Grande, will begin installation of a new traffic signal at Pinal Avenue and Centennial Boulevard.

Start Date: Monday, January 12
Completion: Fall of 2026

Pinal Avenue & Viola Street HAWK Signal Installation

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) will begin a project to install a High Intensity Activated Crosswalk (HAWK) signal at Pinal Avenue and Viola Street to improve safety by providing a designated, protected crossing across State Route 387 (Pinal Avenue).

Start Date: January 2026
Completion: Fall 2026

Please be advised that Metronet will be in multiple locations throughout the City of Casa Grande, January through March of 2026.

• E. Florence Blvd from S. Hacienda Rd – S. Mission Pkwy

When: January 19 through February 13
Time: 7 am to 4 pm.
Locations:

• Shoulder work along N. Peart Rd from E. Cottonwood Ln to E. Kortsen Rd

When: January 26 through March 2
Time: 9 am to 4 pm.
Locations:

• Lane shifts and lane closures along Mission Pkwy and Promenade Pkwy

When: January 26 through March 6, 2026
Time: 7 am to 4 pm.
Locations:

• Lane shifts along N. Colorado St from N. Cottonwood Ln to Sunset Dr
• Shoulder work along N. Peart Rd from E. Cottonwood Ln to E. Douglas St

When: January 30 through March 30
Time: 9 am to 4 pm.
Locations:

• Right lane closure along eastbound lane of Cottonwood @ Thornton Rd
• Right lane closure along eastbound lane of Cottonwood Ln between Thornton Rd and N. Casa Grande Ave.
• Right lane closed along eastbound lane of E. Cottonwood Ln from N. Gilbert Ave to N. Peart Rd
• Southbound right lane closures at the intersection of N. Trekell Rd @ E. Cottonwood Ln
• North and southbound center lane closures at the intersection of N. Trekell Rd @ E. Cottonwood Ln
• Lane shifts at the intersection of N. Colorado St and E. Cottonwood Ln

When: February 2 through March 2
Time: 7 am to 6 pm
Locations:

• Shoulder work along N. Peart Rd from E. Kortsen Rd to E. Rodeo Rd
