Notice of Public Meeting on the use of
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds
PY 2024 Annual Action Plan
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development requires the City of Casa Grande to prepare and submit an Annual Action Plan that outlines how the City intends to spend approximately $475,000 in federal CDBG funds. The process for selecting activities that will be funded as part of the PY 2024 CDBG Annual Action Plan will begin with a Public Meeting to solicit ideas for potential activities or projects.
CDBG funds must be used to: benefit low-income persons, elderly, disabled residents of Casa Grande; to prevent or alleviate slum and blight; and/or address urgent need of the City and must be consistent with the City’s Five-Year Consolidated Plan.

CDBG Application Workshop
The City will be accepting grant applications for its Program Year 2024 CDBG funds. Up to a maximum of 15% of CDBG funds may be available for Public Service activities. Non-profit and government entities are invited to attend an application workshop following the February 21, 2024, public meeting at Mondo Anaya Community Center.
