HOMICIDE SUSPECT IN CUSTODY
The Casa Grande Police Department has taken 49-year-old Casa Grande resident MARCUS HATTON into custody. Hatton is the suspect in the March 11th shooting of 45-year-old Casa Grande resident STEVE SHINAULT. Hatton voluntarily surrendered himself at the Casa Grande Police Department this morning at 10:00 a.m. Hatton was accompanied by his attorney.
Hatton will be transported to the Pinal County Adult Detention Center and charges of Murder, Aggravated Assault, Weapons Misconduct, Endangerment, Disorderly Conduct with a Weapon, and Prohibited Possessor will be forwarded to the Pinal County Attorney’s Office for review. This remains an ongoing investigation.
