FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: SPRING CLEAN-UP IN CASA GRANDE: HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL EVENT AMONG MANY OFFERED TO RESIDENTS.

CASA GRANDE, AZ - [April 11, 2024] – The Casa Grande Sanitation Division would like to remind Casa Grande citizens of its upcoming Household Hazardous Waste Event (HHW) scheduled for Saturday, April 20th, from 8:00 A.M. to Noon at the North Operations Center, located at 3181 N. Lear Avenue.

Household hazardous waste poses significant environmental and public health hazards if disposed of improperly. From cleaning agents to automotive products, these materials can harm our surroundings if not handled with care. As a responsible member of the community, Casa Grande urges its residents to participate in this event to ensure the safe disposal of such items.

To take part in the HHW event, residents are encouraged to follow these simple steps:

  • Review the accepted materials list available on the Casa Grande website.
  • Bring your materials to the North Operations Center at 3181 N. Lear Avenue.
  • Note the 25-gallon per trip limit for each participant.
  • Residential hazardous waste will only be accepted; commercial waste will not be admitted.
  • The event is FREE for all Casa Grande residents.

Alongside the Household Hazardous Waste Event, Casa Grande offers a range of other community programs this spring aimed at promoting cleanliness and sustainability:

Located at First American Credit Union at, 1001 N. Pinal Avenue from 9 A.M. to noon or until the truck is full. This event is also free for residents.
