FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: CITY OF CASA GRANDE FIRE DEPARTMENT APPOINTS NEW FIRE MARSHAL.
CASA GRANDE, AZ – This week, the City Casa Grande Fire Chief Dave Kean announced the appointment of Battalion Chief Frank Ricci as the City's new Fire Marshal.
"Chief Ricci brings extensive fire service knowledge, public safety background, professional expertise, and leadership skills to his new role at the City of Casa Grande," states Chief Kean. "I am confident Chief Ricci's proven track record, and many successes will carry over to his supervisory role in the Fire Prevention Division and prove to be an asset to our Casa Grande community."
Frank Ricci is a 30-year veteran of the fire service. He began his career in 1994 at the Carpentersville Fire Department (IL) before heading to Casa Grande, AZ, in 2008 to serve as Operations Battalion Chief. Chief Ricci received his bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University, a master's degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Arkansas, and he is a Certified Chief Fire Officer.
“I am honored to have served the City of Casa Grande as a Fire Battalion Chief, alongside my fellow firefighters and colleagues in city government for the past 16 years,” said Ricci. “As I assume the role of Fire Marshal, I look forward to continued collaboration with our city's leadership team. I am eager to apply everything I’ve learned to ensure the safety of our community's businesses, residents, and visitors. Fire prevention and education are vital to any fire department, and I am privileged to lead our dedicated team. I look forward to advancing life safety, fire prevention, and community involvement in our mission.”
Chief Ricci’s first day in his new role will be June 3, 2024.
