CASA GRANDE ANIMAL CARE & ADOPTION CENTER OFFERS FEE-WAIVED DOG ADOPTIONS NOW THROUGH OCTOBER 5TH.
Casa Grande, AZ (September 25, 2024) — The Casa Grande Animal Care and Adoption Center is waiving adoption fees for all dogs from September 23rd to October 5th. This special promotion is in partnership with Best Friends Animal Society, a national organization committed to ending the euthanasia of dogs and cats in shelters by 2025.
The shelter is currently at capacity, particularly with large dogs, and this initiative comes at a critical time. Residents are encouraged to help by adopting a dog in need, which will reduce overcrowding and prevent the euthanasia of adoptable pets. “We have a variety of wonderful dogs, from different breeds to personalities, ready to find their forever homes,” said Cerise Shanafelt, Animal Control Supervisor.
The center, located at 202 E First Avenue, Casa Grande, AZ, is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Adopting a dog not only saves the life of the pet adopted but also opens space for another dog in need.
