FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: OVERNIGHT ROADWORK SCHEDULED IN DOWNTOWN CASA GRANDE.
Casa Grande, AZ – Beginning Thursday, April 10, the City of Casa Grande will commence overnight roadwork along 2nd Street and Casa Grande Avenue as part of its ongoing pavement maintenance program. The project is expected to last approximately one month, with work occurring Monday through Friday from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. To minimize disruption, roads will be closed each night but reopened by morning to accommodate traffic and support downtown businesses.
Project Phases & Scope
- Phase I: Roadwork on 2nd Street from Florence Boulevard to N. Hermosilla Street
- Phase II: Roadwork on Casa Grande Avenue extending to the roundabout on Jimmie Kerr Boulevard
The project includes mill and seal improvements, addressing rough road conditions and enhancing overall street quality. This effort is part of the city’s $2.7 million annual pavement preservation program aimed at maintaining and improving local infrastructure.
“We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation as we work to enhance roadways and support the continued growth of Casa Grande,” said Ricardo Carranza, Streets Supervisor.
