Both the Main Library and Vista Grande Library are closed on Monday, September 1, 2025. Regular hours resume Tuesday, September 2. In the meantime, you can still access digital resources 24/7 at cglibrary.org
Regular Programs & Events
Anime & Art Tuesdays: Join Ms. Katie every Tuesday for anime viewings, drawing, and crafts (Grades 6–12). Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Some content may be PG-13.
Game Time at Vista Grande: Weekly video and board games at Vista Grande library from 3:30–4:45 pm. Parents accompany children under 12.
Crochet & Knitting Club: Fridays, 3:30–5:00 pm at Vista Grande. Ages 12+, bring your own supplies (some yarn available).
Family Movie & Coloring: Watch The Last Dragon (Disney, 2021) August 30, 2:00 pm at the Main Library. Adult supervision required for children under 12; light snacks (with screw-top lids) welcome.

ESL Classes: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10:30 am–12:00 pm at Vista Grande—no registration needed, all levels welcome.

Volunteer & Learning Opportunities
Mayor’s Reading Club: Volunteer for 1 hour/month to read to children in grades K–3. Learn more and sign up.
Free Online Courses with Universal Class: Access college-level, continuing ed, or skill-building courses at no cost using your library card.
Tutor Tech Time: One-on-one technology tutoring sessions (in person) for ages 18+—perfect for learning about iPhones, e-books, social media, and more. Schedule using the link provided.
High School Diploma Program: Free program for adults aiming to earn a GED. Details available via the linked source.
Extra Perks & Community Support
Culture Passes: Free passes to local cultural institutions; available at both locations (one pass per household per 7 days, including via the Bookmobile).
Donations Welcome: The Friends of the Library accepts small item donations at either location anytime during open hours. For large items, please call ahead (520-421-8710).
ACE Volunteer Program: The Central Lutheran Church Adult Community Education Team is seeking volunteers to assist with general education and ESL tutoring (once or twice a week). Interested? Fill out the volunteer interest form.
