FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: MAYOR’S STATE OF THE CITY CELEBRATES MILESTONES AND MOMENTUM FOR CASA GRANDE.
Mayor Craig McFarland and the Casa Grande City Council cordially invite the community to the annual State of the City address on Wednesday, March 6th from 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the Casa Grande Community Recreation Center, 1905 North Peart Road.
The address will include updates on the city’s current infrastructure investment, education and workforce programs, new and expanding housing inventory, community beautification projects, safety investments as well as other topics.
The program features a pre-event reception, from 1:00-1:30 p.m. with music from the Casa Grande High School Guitar Ensemble and various vehicles on display including a CG LINK transit bus, the Library Bookmobile, and a Travelling Garbage Gallery sanitation truck. City departments will have tables showcasing their projects and programs in the lobby area with staff available to answer questions from the public. The mayor’s address begins at 1:30 p.m. and will highlight Casa Grande’s milestones leading up to the current year.
The event is free to the public; however, space is limited.
