FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: KORTSEN ROAD SEWER RELIEF PROJECT HEADS EASTBOUND TOWARDS PINAL AVENUE (04/12).
Beginning on Friday, April 12th and lasting through approximately May 10th, Kortsen Road will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes of traffic from Thornton Road to just west of Raintree Drive as part of the Kortsen Road Sewer Relief Project. Contractors will be trenching in the roadway to facilitate pipe installation.
The Korsten Road Sewer Relief Project, spanning approximately 4.6 miles, will originate at the Henness Road alignment, navigate along the Kortsen Road alignment, and end at the City's Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) and will add approximately 9 million gallons per day (MGD) addressing the demand for increased sewer capacity to sustain growth in the region.
