Historic Preservation Commission
The Historic Preservation Commission works towards protecting, enhancing, and perpetuating the City’s landmarks and historic districts for the economic, cultural, educational, and general welfare of the public.
- Members serve three-year terms.
- Meetings are on the 4th Monday of each month @ 6:00 p.m.
- The Commission is looking for a licensed real estate broker, agent, or licensed contractor.
Board of Appeals
The Board of Appeals provides an avenue for people to appeal requirements, decisions, or determinations made by administrative officials pertaining to Building or Fire Codes.
- Meetings are held as needed and start at 3:00 p.m.
- Members serve 3-year terms.
- Members of the board must be qualified by experience and training to pass on matters pertaining to building construction and property maintenance.
