THE CITY OF CASA GRANDE, ARIZONA REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS “FOR” OR “AGAINST” BOND QUESTION
The City of Casa Grande, Arizona (the “City”), will hold a bond election on November 4, 2025, requesting approval of bonds to provide funds to construct, improve and acquire community, neighborhood, regional and aquatic parks, including recreational facilities, buildings, amenities and improvements; to acquire land for parks, recreational facilities, buildings, and open spaces; to make improvements, additions, and replacements to existing parks and recreational facilities and buildings; to landscape, furnish and equip existing and new parks and recreational facilities and buildings, and pay all necessary legal, financial, consulting and other costs and fees in connection therewith, in the principal amount not to exceed $67,000,000. The estimated average annual bond tax rate per $100 of net assessed limited property valuation is $.5539.
An informational pamphlet will be mailed to households of registered voters within the City. Any persons, organization or political committee wishing to submit a statement “for” or “against” the bond question may do so by mail or hand delivery of the statement to the Office of the City Clerk, City of Casa Grande, 510 E. Florence Blvd., Casa Grande, Arizona 85122; telephone: (520) 421-8600. The argument shall not exceed 300 words in length, not including the signature block, and with each argument supporting or opposing the proposition, one hundred dollars ($100.00) shall be deposited with the City Clerk to offset a portion of the proportionate cost of paper and printing the argument.
If the argument is from an organization, it shall contain the sworn statement of two of its executive officers. If the argument is submitted by a political committee, it shall contain the sworn statement of the chairperson or treasurer. The sworn statement must include the following statement above the signature line: “I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing information is true and correct, and I am the sponsor of this argument advocating or opposing this proposition.” If the argument is submitted by an individual and not on behalf of an organization, a political committee or any other group, the person shall submit the argument with a sworn, notarized statement. Persons signing the argument shall identify themselves by giving their residence address and telephone number, which may not appear in the informational pamphlet, except that the person's identity, city or town, and state of residence shall appear in the pamphlet. Any argument that is submitted and that does not comply with this subdivision may not be included in the pamphlet.
The signed, sworn and/or notarized statement and deposit must be received in the Office of the City Clerk on or before 5:00 p.m. of August 5, 2025. The last day to register to vote for this election is October 6, 2025.

LA CIUDAD DE CASA GRANDE, ARIZONA SOLICITA DECLARACIONES "A FAVOR" O "EN CONTRA" DE LA PREGUNTA SOBRE BONOS.
La Ciudad de Casa Grande, Arizona (la "Ciudad") llevará a cabo una elección de bonos el 4 de noviembre de 2025, en la que solicitará la aprobación de bonos para proporcionar fondos para construir, mejorar y adquirir terrenos para parques comunitarios, de los vecindarios, regionales y acuáticos, incluyendo instalaciones recreativas, edificios, servicios y mejoras; para adquirir terrenos para parques, instalaciones recreativas, edificios, y espacios abiertos; para realizar mejoras, ampliaciones y reemplazos en parques existentes, instalaciones recreativas y edificios, embellecer jardines, amueblar y equipar parques e instalaciones recreativas y edificios, tanto nuevos como existentes, y pagar todos los costos y honorarios legales, financieros, de consultoría y otros costos y honorarios necesarios relacionados con los mismos; con una cantidad principal que no exceda $67,000,000. La tasa impositiva anual promedio estimada del bono por cada $100 de valoración neta limitada de la propiedad es $0.5539.
Se enviará un folleto informativo a los hogares de los votantes registrados dentro de la Ciudad. Cualquier persona, organización o comité político que desee presentar una declaración "a favor" o "en contra" de la pregunta sobre bonos puede hacerlo por correo o mediante entrega en persona en la Oficina del secretario Municipal de la Ciudad de Casa Grande a la dirección: 510 E. Florence Blvd. Casa Grande, Arizona 85122 Teléfono: (520) 421-8600. El argumento no deberá exceder 300 palabras, sin contar el bloque de firma. Además, cada argumento que apoye o se oponga a la propuesta deberá ir acompañado de un depósito de cien dólares ($100.00), que se utilizará para cubrir parte del costo proporcional del papel y la impresión del argumento.
Si el argumento proviene de una organización, deberá incluir la declaración jurada de dos de sus funcionarios ejecutivos. Si el argumento es presentado por un comité político, deberá incluir la declaración jurada de su presidente o tesorero. La declaración jurada deberá contener el siguiente texto encima de la línea de firma: “Declaro, bajo pena de perjurio, que la información anterior es verdadera y correcta, y que soy el patrocinador de este argumento en apoyo o en oposición a esta propuesta.” Si el argumento es presentado por un individuo y no en representación de una organización, un comité político o cualquier otro grupo, la persona deberá presentar el argumento con una declaración jurada debidamente notarizada. Las personas que firmen el argumento deberán identificarse proporcionando su dirección de residencia y número de teléfono. Esta información no aparecerá en el folleto informativo, con excepción de la identidad de la persona, la ciudad o pueblo y el estado de residencia, los cuales sí serán incluidos en el folleto. Cualquier argumento presentado que no cumpla con estas disposiciones podría no ser incluido en el folleto.
Los argumentos firmados bajo juramento y/o notarizados, junto con el depósito correspondiente, deberán ser recibidos en la oficina de la secretaria municipal a más tardar a las 5:00 p. m. del 5 de agosto de 2025. La fecha límite para registrarse para votar en esta elección es el 6 de octubre de 2025.
