KORTSEN ROAD IMPROVEMENTS TO BEGIN OCTOBER 16.
CASA GRANDE, AZ – Beginning Thursday, October 16, contractors will begin roadway improvements along Kortsen Road, including portions of the intersection at Kortsen Road and Pinal Avenue. The work, which includes striping, milling, and slurry seal, follows the recently completed Kortsen Road Sewer Relief Project and is expected to last several days.
Key details include:
- Closures: Kortsen Road will be fully closed from Pinal Avenue west to Crane Street. Portions of Kortsen Road east of Pinal Avenue will also be closed (see attached map).
- Work Hours: Crews will work overnight from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., but closures will remain in effect 24/7 until the project is complete.
- Traffic Control: Message boards will be deployed five days in advance, and detours will remain in place for the duration of the project.
The City of Casa Grande thanks residents, businesses, and motorists for their patience during this necessary work to restore and improve roadway conditions.
