Halloween Harvest Festival Oct. 23 from 6 pm to 9 pm

Event Overview 

The City of Casa Grande invites the community to a memorable evening of fall festivities at the annual Halloween Harvest Festival on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Paul Mason Sports Complex. This free, family-friendly event will feature inflatables, carnival-style game booths, a costume contest, food vendors, trick-or-treating opportunities, and more—fun for all ages.

Date: Thursday, October 23, 2025 
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (gates open at 6:00 p.m.) 
Location: Paul Mason Sports Complex (inside Ed Hooper Park) 
2525 N. Pinal Avenue, Casa Grande, AZ 85122 

Parking 

Free parking will be available. The main entrance for the event will be at Pinal Avenue and Rodeo Road. Please note that the Paul Mason Sports Complex main entrance will be closed during the event.

What to Bring 

Guests should wear costumes and bring: 

  • Trick-or-treat bags 
  • Lawn chairs or blankets 
  • Water 

Food will be available for purchase from local vendors. 

Costume Contest 

Starts at 6:30 p.m. with the following categories: 

  • Best Costume (5 & under) 
  • Best Costume (6–10 years) 
  • Best Costume (11–14 years) 
  • Best Costume (15+ years) 
  • Most Creative (all ages) 
  • Scariest (all ages) 
  • Best Duo/Couple Costume (all ages) 
  • Best Family/Group Costume (minimum of three participants) 

Scare-Y-Grande is a collaboration between the City of Casa Grande Community Services Department, Experience Casa Grande, the Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Office, and the Casa Grande Arts and Culture Commission. Residents, businesses, schools, and organizations are invited to design and build their very own scarecrows for display at the festival. Attendees will vote for their favorite creation, and the winner of the “Best Scarecrow” will receive a prize and be recognized at a future Casa Grande City Council meeting. Scarecrow Registration is through the Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Office. 

Key Dates for Participants: 

  • Scarecrow Registration: September 15 – October 11 
  • Build & Design Period: Through October 22 
  • Set-Up: Day of Event (October 23) — all scarecrows must be able to stand upright. 
  • Take-Down: Following event conclusion.

Participants will also have the option to extend the life of their scarecrows with a display at City Hall from October 24 to November 30. Display locations will be coordinated by the City Clerk’s Office. To schedule, email the Clerk's Office or call 520-421-8600.

Haunted Hayride 

Ready for a thrilling experience? The Haunted Hayride runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., offering creepy, immersive scares in dimly lit conditions (enter at your own risk).

Volunteer Opportunity

Game Booths 

Local businesses and organizations are invited to host game booths at no cost. Hosts are expected to supply their own candy and may include promotional items. Space is limited, and registration closes Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
