FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: CITY OF CASA GRANDE TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE TO INFORM RESIDENTS OF SEVERAL FY25 INITIATIVES (7/10).
CASA GRANDE, AZ - [July 2, 2024] – The City of Casa Grande invites members of the public to an Open House on Wednesday, July 10 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, 510 E. Florence Boulevard. The purpose of the Open House is to inform the public on several initiatives including code changes to address affordable housing needs and projects to improve the city’s transportation network. All residents are encouraged to join the conversation as Planning and Development and Public Works request input on the following:
- Modifying lot size and setbacks to facilitate the construction of homes on smaller infill lots.
- Allowing manufactured homes on individual lots in certain neighborhoods with a Conditional Use Permit (CUP).
- Permitting Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) in residential neighborhoods.
- Design of the McCartney Road and Trekell Road widening projects, among others.
- The Rapid Response Program which includes intersection improvements at several key locations at an accelerated pace to accommodate growth.
Residents will have an opportunity to view plans, meet city staff, and leave comments for consideration. Comment cards and drop boxes will be onsite, or the public may view the presentation on July 10 online and leave comments via email.
