• Both library branches will close early at 5 p.m. on November 26, and will be closed Thanksgiving Day and Friday, November 28. Normal hours resume Saturday, November 29.

• Programs of note this week:

  • A new 11-week board-game series for grades 6–12 (Thursdays at 4 p.m.) – Note: no session this Thursday due to the holiday.

  • A Crochet & Knitting Club for ages 12+ on Fridays, 3:30–5:00 p.m. at the Vista Grande branch – supplies provided while available.

  • Family movie screening of Encanto on Saturday (2 p.m.) at the Main branch — children under 12 must attend with an adult.

  • Monthly Genealogy talk on Monday, December 1 (10–11 a.m.) at Vista Grande — this month’s topic: the Arizona Historical Society Library & Archives.

  • Spanish Conversation sessions Thursdays (12:30–1 p.m.) through December 4, and ESL classes Tuesdays & Thursdays (10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.) at Vista Grande — no session this Thursday.

• Additional library services:

  • Year-round reading challenges using the Beanstack app: “25 in 25” for all ages, and “1000 Books Before Kindergarten” for ages 0–5.

  • Volunteers sought for the Mayor’s Reading Club (one hour/month reading to K–3rd graders).

  • Free access to online courses via Universal Class with a library card.

  • Tutor Tech Time: one-on-one technology help for adults (ages 18+) — sign up required.

  • Study rooms available at both branches; reserve online, by phone, or in person.

  • Donation drop-offs welcome for the Friends of the Casa Grande Public Library at either branch during normal business hours.

  • Culture Passes available for local cultural venues, including via the Library Bookmobile.
