ACAC Wall Mural Art Project

Calling All Pinal County Artists!

The Casa Grande Arts & Culture Commission is pleased to announce the 2025 Casa Grande Animal Care & Adoption Center Wall Mural Art Project.

The City Clerk’s Office, on behalf of the Casa Grande Arts & Culture Commission, Animal Care & Adoption Center, and Police Department, is currently accepting proposals to paint the west wall of the CG Animal Care & Adoption Center located at 202 E. First Avenue, Casa Grande, AZ. 

This project is designed to enhance the community by adding works of art to City buildings. 

Artist Compensation

The selected artist will be awarded up to $6,500: 

  • $3,250 upon project initiation 
  • $3,250 upon project completion

Submission Deadline

All proposals must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on June 16, 2025, to:

Proposals must be clearly marked: “Animal Shelter Wall Mural Proposal.” Electronic submissions will not be accepted. 

This is a unique opportunity for artists to make a lasting impact on the Casa Grande community while supporting a cause that gives animals a new lease on life.

July 24, 2025 @ 4:00 p.m. Final Edited Artwork Due from Artists
August 5, 2025 @ 4:00 p.m. Arts and Culture Meeting:
Selection by Review Team
Applicants are NOT required to attend this meeting.
August 28, 2025 Release First Stipend $3,250 to the selected Artist;
Sign Contract & Begin Project
September 29, 2025 Official Launch of Animal Shelter Event
The selected artist is required to attend this event.
December 12, 2025 Complete Mural Project
December 13, 2025 (Tentative Date) Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Release Second Stipend $3,250
The selected artist is required to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony.
