Victim Services Volunteer & Intern Opportunities

The City of Casa Grande Attorney’s Office offers meaningful Volunteer and Intern opportunities through its Victim Services Program. Volunteers and interns provide direct support and advocacy to victims of crime in our community.

Provide support, information, and advocacy to victims of crime.

Responsibilities

  • Offer empathetic listening and emotional support to victims. 
  • Explain victims’ constitutional rights and keep them informed of their case status, court dates, court proceedings, and the criminal justice process. 
  • Assist with safety planning. 
  • Provide victims with community resources or services that are available.
  • Escort victims to court for support and advocacy. 
  • Document case notes and track victim support services.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old. 
  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED. 
  • Successfully pass a background check.
