The City of Casa Grande has adopted new ordinances to help protect the safety, cleanliness, and accessibility of parks, sidewalks, and other public spaces. These measures address health and safety concerns—such as hazardous waste, discarded needles, and blocked pathways—while responding to community feedback about maintaining shared areas for everyone’s enjoyment.
The City is taking a balanced approach that combines enforcement with outreach, connecting individuals experiencing homelessness to support services. The focus is on preserving quality of life for the entire community, not criminalizing homelessness.
Unless contested, these ordinances will take effect on October 1, 2025.
