Deputy Chief Brian Ramirez oversees the Patrol Division. Deputy Chief Brian Ramirez is a 28-year Arizona Law Enforcement veteran.
The Patrol Division is responsible for police response to calls for assistance and proactive enforcement of state and city statutes 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
Districts
The Casa Grande Police Department patrols the city in five districts. Each Patrol Team is staffed with one Sergeant and Police Officers.
Patrol Officers work proactively to identify problems within their district and develop and implement solutions for these problems.
Community Response Team
The Community Response Team is comprised of one Sergeant and several Patrol Officers who are tasked with special assignments designated by the Chief of Police and the Patrol Commander. This team is responsible for managing and resolving high-profile and recurring crime issues in business districts and neighborhoods.
Deputy Chief Angel Leos oversees the Support Services and Criminal Investigations Divisions. Deputy Chief Angel Leos is a 33+ year Arizona Law Enforcement veteran.
General Operations Division
The General Operations Division is led by Deputy Chief Angel Leos, a seasoned law enforcement professional with over 33 years of experience in Arizona policing. This division encompasses two key components: Special Operations and Support Services.
Special Operations Unit
The Special Operations Unit ensures the department’s operational readiness by managing specialized teams, including Investigations, Narcotics, Traffic, K-9, and Crime Scene Technicians. The unit actively analyzes crime trends to identify patterns in criminal behavior and predict where and when similar offenses may occur.
Support Services Unit
The Support Services Unit oversees critical functions such as Records Management, Evidence Storage and Tracking, Animal Care and Adoption, SWAT coordination, and Department Training. Additionally, the unit manages several community-facing programs, including Graffiti Abatement, Alarm Management, and the Department’s Volunteer Program.

- Where can I get fingerprinted?

Bring a state-issued ID card or Drivers' License and $10. Fingerprinting is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to noon.

If you would like to request a Citizen Ride-Along, please visit the Public Safety Facility Lobby and complete a Citizen Ride-Along form. This form will be reviewed, including a background check, and a department representative will contact you.

- How do I get my vehicle out of impound?

If your vehicle was impounded by the Casa Grande Police Department per ARS 28-3511, please visit the Public Safety Facility Information Lobby located at 373 East Val Vista Boulevard. Please bring proof of vehicle insurance, vehicle registration and a valid driver's license. You will also be required to pay $150. Cash, credit or check is accepted.

If you would like to pick up any found or seized property, please visit the Public Safety Facility (Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 4 pm) located at 373 East Val Vista Boulevard, Records Office. Please bring a valid form of picture identification and any relevant documents.

If you want a copy of a police report, please visit the Public Safety Facility Records Office at 373 East Val Vista Boulevard, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. You may also email the Records Office.

If you have an emergency, please dial 911. If you would like to report a crime, please call CGPD at 520-421-8700. For specific types of low-priority crimes or incidents, citizens can now report them online.
